This year too, the entire Convergenze staff gathered to celebrate Christmas at the Mec Paestum Hotel.
The theme of the evening was inspired by Clint Eastwood's masterpiece INVICTUS, released in American theaters in 2009 and nominated for two Oscars.
The film is about Nelson Mandela, who was released after 27 years of imprisonment with the abolition of Apartheid and became president thanks to the free elections. Mandela, the first colored president of South Africa, aims to reconcile the population of the country, once again divided by racial hatred. The success of Springboks National Team will become the symbol of the reconciliation and of the integration process.
INVICTUS is a manifesto of values, sport, integration and humanity that Convergenze wanted to share with everyone because together, if we believe, we can do anything at all.
